What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a funnel marketing approach and why should online marketers create one?

It is a method of marketing that is used to convince potential customers to purchase items from you. This is a sales process that involves a person visiting your blog to find information that will help them solve their issue. But, with the help of specific tools, you can learn how to build a relationship with each person who visits your blog.

This will allow you to better understand the needs of each visitor. This will enable you to offer the best information possible for all users. If you gain the trust of your visitors they are more likely to buy your products. The customer will then turn into a customer.

Certain customers turn out to be very loyal customers, willing to buy every product you advertise. A marketing funnel consists of the various stages of sales it takes to transform a regular website visitor to a loyal customer who wants to buy everything that you can throw at them.

This is the main goal of any internet marketer. This is possible by using a funnel that is well-designed.

Your promotional materials are drawing attention of people and leading them to the funnel. After they have filled out the form on your PERSONAL lead capture page they will be added to the funnel. I say "personal" because nobody will ever opt-in on your business lead capture page. They want to join a leader and not a business.

The page for lead capture is the entrance into the funnel - when they click that "Sign up Now" or "Enter Here" button, they enter a whole new concept in network marketing.

It's their decision. It's their choice. They don't have anything to offer you other than your leadership skills and mentor and as someone who will assist to increase leads for their business.

This is how the typical marketing channel functions.

To draw customers to your product, you need to provide them with an opportunity to win a prize to be offered on the "front end". To get your product for free, sign up (also known as opt-in) and give your email address and name. Then, you will add them to your mailing list.

Now, you can add these contacts to your email list so that you can send them other relevant offers.

Right after sign-up to receive the free offer, you'll be directed to a webpage with a low price offer or what's called a trip wire offer. At this point, they will be taken to the "back side" of the funnel.

They are taken to another similar offer with a lower price if they purchase the low-priced offer (also called an upsell). The person will also be taken to the next offer if they buy the same offer at a higher price. This can continue for a long time...
